Today, September 8, the Prosperity CUP Kyrgyzstan incubation program was launched. For 10 days, selected startupers will actively work to improve their project in the competition for investments over $10 thousand. This was reported by the press service of Prosperity CUP.
At the opening, Country Director of Accelerate Prosperity Indira Uzbekova and Program Manager of the EU Delegation in Kyrgyzstan Stefano Corrado delivered welcoming speeches.
"The Accelerate Prosperity ASIA project provides a unique opportunity to support youth entrepreneurship and promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country. Through its green vision, the program will continue to contribute to protecting the environment and improving the well-being of the people of Kyrgyzstan," Corrado said.
It is also noted that experienced entrepreneurs and IT project managers shared their valuable advice with startups.
As part of the Prosperity CUP, participants will work in teams and with a mentor, will be able to define a value proposition, work out the financial model of their startup, learn how to attract investment for its development, and much more.
"In less than two weeks, your startup will grow from the moment of idea to receiving real investments with Prosperity Cup!" - noted in the organization.
Prosperity CUP Kyrgyzstan is a powerful boost for innovative and digital startups from all over Kyrgyzstan, which will culminate in the pitching of the best startups to the investment committee. Prosperity CUP Kyrgyzstan is held within the framework of the Accelerate Prosperity ASIA project. The AP Asia project is funded by the European Union and the Aga Khan Foundation. The project is aimed at developing entrepreneurship and improving the economic well-being of the rural population of Kyrgyzstan.
